Accessibility Statement

1. Standard and current status

Our goal is to align the public website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. The complete site has not yet undergone a formal independent conformance assessment, so we do not claim full conformance. This statement records our current goal, self-evaluation approach, known limitations, and support route.

2. Measures we take

Our implementation aims to use semantic HTML, labelled controls, keyboard-operable interactions, visible focus states, responsive layouts, text alternatives, readable contrast, descriptive links, error messaging, and shared templates. We include accessibility in code review and regression checks when public templates and components change.

3. Technical environment

The site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SVG, and WAI-ARIA where native HTML alone is insufficient. It is designed for current versions of major browsers and common desktop and mobile assistive technologies. Some interactive maps, third-party embeds, downloadable documents, or older browsers may provide a reduced experience.

4. Known limitations and alternatives

• Property images and user-supplied documents: some older or third-party material may have incomplete text alternatives or inaccessible formatting. Ask us for a description or alternative format.
• Maps and location tools: map canvases can be difficult for keyboard and screen-reader users. Property details and contact routes remain available without relying only on the map.
• PDFs and generated reports: some documents may not yet have a complete tagged reading order. Request the underlying information in HTML, plain text, or another practical format.
• Third-party services: social, messaging, payment, media, and embedded tools are partly controlled by their providers. Contact us if a provider barrier prevents you from completing a task and we will offer a reasonable alternative where possible.

5. Feedback and assistance

If you encounter a barrier, tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, the problem encountered, and any browser or assistive technology information you are comfortable sharing. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days and to provide an alternative or next step as soon as reasonably possible.

6. Assessment and updates

We currently assess accessibility through internal review, automated checks where available, keyboard testing, and issue-led manual checks. This is not a certification. We will update this statement when a material assessment, remediation programme, or platform change alters the status described here.
